Welcome to my kitchen.
I’m Karine. I’m French and American and have lived all over the world. No matter where I’ve live, I’m always about food, cooking and learning.
Cooking doesn’t have to be complicated to be good. Sometimes the easiest ingredients can be transformed into something elegant, sophisticated and most importantly delicious!
I love to entertain and even more, I love helping others entertain. Either making the food for parties and events or teaching others how to make gorgeous spreads.
No matter where I’ve lived cooking has remained my passion. In college at Syracuse University. I learned a lot about food while waitressing at various high-scale restaurants. I found myself showing friends how to cook and throw awesome parties, with food, not just beer kegs! Later in NYC, I found myself catering parties for friends and acquaintances while working as a copywriter in advertising. From that moment on I knew I wanted to do something in food. However, I moved to Detroit in 2003, met my husband and since then we lived 4 years in Tokyo, 2 in Milan and 4 in Los Angeles. It wasn’t until we moved back to Detroit in 2015, that I decided to make a career in culinary.
In 2018, I graduated from an amazing culinary school. Since then, I’ve been cooking, teaching, entertaining and getting others excited about cooking. I would love to cook for you or teach you how to make your own beautiful meals. On my site you will find recipes and other random foodie things. I hope you enjoy!!!!
